Planning a wedding – to anyone who got married in a church?

Hello,
My partner and myself our going to see our local Vicar tomorrow for our first appointment. Is it likely that he will get out his diary and book us in for a wedding date on the first appointment? What kind of questions is he likely to ask?

Yes he will book your date for you on 1st appointment, both my husband and I had been married before so it was slightly more daunting for us as we felt we could be on trial for past mistakes but everything went fine, he asked us how long we had known each other, whether we had any children and how they would fit into our lives. Of course it would be different for you if this is your first marriage so dont be concerned, he cant turn you down !
